As a first-time home builder, I had no clue what I was doing. Brian walked us through every step of the entire process. He scheduled appointments for us to meet with all of our contractors and always followed up to ensure that all of our questions were answered and concerns were met. Brian was willing to walk me through the steps if I wanted to make changes to our house, and also gave me feed back on changes that he didn’t think we would be happy with. After being in our home for several months, I am thankful I took his advice! Brian also worked with us to ensure we stayed within our budget and time line that we had initially set. To whom it may concern. Brian Shattuck built our home in Santa Clara eight years ago. Being a degreed commercial interior designer, I had definite and strong opinions concerning the architecture and construction of our home. He was easy to work with but would let me know if I was heading in the wrong design direction. He was very hands on as a general contractor, knowing at all times what his sub contractors were doing and when they were going to do it. It always appeared that he knew what was going on. We recently used Brian and Ironman Construction to build our 4k square foot home. We decided to go with them because of the quality of work we saw on previous jobs. Brian was able to build the home of our dreams and stay close to the budget we agreed upon ( some things can't be planed for ). We enjoyed working with him and the fact that he kept us in the loop the whole time, and helped us come up with alternative ways of doing things to stay in budget but still get the home we designed and wanted.
